Lykke: Receiving CySEC License to Gain Presence in EU, Adding BTS

Lykke, a Switzerland-based blockchain business company, gained Cyprus Investment Firm License from  Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) to expand its regulated financial services business in European Markets, according to its news release.
Lykke Cyprus Limited will adhere to the strictest financial standards and implement a regulatory framework, including the segregation and protection of client funds, capital adequacy controls, and full transparency of its business operations.
Lykke Founder Richard Olsen was cited as saying that  CySEC licence represents a significant milestone in Lykke’s history.
Lykke Cyprus CEO Demetrios Zamboglou was also cited as saying that Lykke is a step closer to commencing regulated activities including new trading features for clients.
Meanwhile, Lykke Exchange has added Bitshares’ BTS token as its tradable assets, according to its separate news release.
BitShares is known as a pioneer project for building decentralized financial exchange service platform
BTS is tradable in pairs with BTC and USD.
