PATH to Tap into Blockchain Business

PATH, a listed Japanese e-commerce and consulting company, would enter into the blockchain business via the partnership with Blockchain Global Limited(BGL), the Australia-based blockchain technology and investment company, according to its announcement.
The Tokyo-based PATH would provide the blockchain engineering consulting and ICO consulting services to Japanese clients via PATH’s new subsidiary (Blockshine Japan).
BGL holds about a 4% stake in PATH.
PATH is known for its e-commerce service in cosmetics, and provides business consulting as its core business, according to its website.
Established in May 1990, PATH(3840) is listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and its market cap is about JPY 8bn.
PATH expects to post group sales of about 3bn for the year ending in March 2019.     
PATH is aiming at generating an annual revenue of about JPY 4bn (USD 35m) in near future.
