Coinbase explained on its website that more users can now sign up to the program, have their identities verified and checked for eligibility, and participate in educational courses, complete tasks, and try new decentralized protocols to earn cryptocurrencies.
Coinbase Earn currently offers lessons about Stellar Lumens (XLM), ZCash (ZEC), Basic Attention Token (BAT), and 0x (ZRX).
The exchange noted that it will work to add more courses about other cryptocurrencies soon.
“With this international expansion, anyone with a smartphone in a supported country can now earn crypto while they learn about crypto just by setting up a free Coinbase account,” Coinbase said.
Coinbase Earn was initially released in 2018 to a limited number of users.
The exchange developed the platform to educate users about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies and reward them with digital assets afterwards.
