The new service, which succeeds the first DApp development suite that Blockchain Studio created, enables businesses to deploy and manage a blockchain platform on enterprise systems or private clouds without needing an information technology infrastructure, according to a report by Crypto Ninjas.
The cloud-managed tool is also expected to help speed up blockchain projects with less barriers to entry.
Corentin Denoeud, CEO and co-founder of Blockchain Studio, said that the move is part of the company’s effort to promote the use of blockchain and accelerate and secure the implementation of DApps for businesses.
Denoeud cited research finding from Gartner, saying that “92% of projects are still in R&D stage, with developers and enterprises lacking the resources needed to deploy a blockchain infrastructure and secure their transactions and identities.”
Rockside currently has a free version of the cloud-managed DApp development tool, with plans to release a premium version with additional features soon.
