HPB said on its website that the partnership will enable new features such as the conversion of HPB coins into in-game currency, as well as the integration of nine Shanghai Youwan games onto the HPB Wallet.
The collaboration will also allow credit conversions from the in-game currency into in-game credits compatible with companies that are integrated into Shanghai Youwan’s credit system in an effort to implement the cross-platform credit circulation.
Firms integrated into the mobile gaming company’s credit system include JD.com, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, and those that operate under the Ping An Group.
HPB added that the partnership will aid Shanghai Youwan in improving its services in health care, food, housing, transportation, and entertainment.
Shanghai Youwan operates a cross-platform, multiplayer online gaming platform that hosts about 29 games.
HPB now serves as gaming firm’s first public chain partner.
