According to a Medium post by Celer, the partnership will kick off with NEO writing Celer’s generalized state channel smart contract in C#. The open-source code is expected to be integrated into Celer’s cChannel smart contract repository in the fourth quarter of 2019.
The second phase of the collaboration will include Celer connecting its node and State Guardian Network layer-2 system components to its generalized state channel smart contracts on NEO.
Celer will continue to oversee the integration towards the unified state channel standard.
The layer-2 scaling platform expects to see NEO-based DApps, including exchanges, games, and payment systems, to operate with Celer Network technology and CelerX eSport Gaming SDK by the first quarter of 2020.
NEO and Celer will additionally coordinate with each other on marketing and community building projects in China and the rest of the world.
