The Klay token will also be listed on Upbit Singapore on an undisclosed date, according to a report by The Korea Times.
A Kakao official noted that the firm is beginning to list the Klay token on various cryptocurrency exchanges in different countries as part of an effort to boost Klaytn as a Asia-based platform.
Klaytn also recently received support from Bitberry and NOVA Wallet, enabling the users of the digital wallets to deposit and withdraw Klay and Klaytn-based tokens.
Earlier this month, the Kakao project tied up with Samsung to release a new variant of the Galaxy Note 10 smartphone called KlaytnPhone, which will be pre-installed with a cryptocurrency wallet and several DApps.
The phone will be exclusively sold to residents in South Korea for the meantime.
The move is part of Klaytn’s effort to further promote the adoption of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
