According to the announcement, interested players can access the dashboard to create an account and explore The Sandbox’s LANDs, ERC-20 standard SAND tokens, pre-sales, and voxel assets.
The dashboard also provides a preview of the game’s features before its blockchain version is released to the public.
While blockchain-based transactions are not yet supported in the asset marketplace, users can save their desired assets, which can later be used to customize LANDs through The Sandbox’s Game Maker feature.
The Sandbox is a 3D community-driven game that is similar to popular video game Minecraft.
Animoca Brands acquired The Sandbox developer Pixowl for $4.9 million in cash and stock at a time in 2018 when the latter was developing a blockchain version of the game.
