F1 Delta Time Releases Details of First Official Crate Sale

by Monica Padillo

F1 Delta Time, an Ethereum-based blockchain game run by Animoca Brands, has announced that it will be launching its first official crate sale this February.

According to the announcement, interested players can purchase virtual crates that contain a random assortment of non-fungible token collectibles such as driver gear, car components and tyres.

The sale will feature 2,500 Common tier crates, 2000 Rare tier crates, 1,500 Epic tier crates, and 500 Legendary tier crates.

The contents of each crate tier will be as follows:

  • Common tier crate – four Common and one Rare collectibles
  • Rare tier crate – two Common and three Rare collectibles
  • Epic tier crate – three Common, one Rare, and one Epic collectibles
  • Legendary crate – three Common, one Rare, and one Legendary collectibles

During the first week of sales, F1 Delta Time will implement a 10 percent discount on the base price for all crates. The prices of the crates will gradually increase by 10 percent each following week until the last week of the sale.

The DApp game will also impose a discount on every fifth crate that players intend to purchase. Players need to select a crate of the same tier as the other crates they have purchased to take advantage of the 5 percent discount.

Users will be able to earn 2.5% from their crate purchases by sharing referral links.

Lastly, players will also have the chance to win one of the three remaining Chinese Guardian cars. The cars are of Apex tier, which is the highest rarity tier in F1 Delta Time.

Each Chinese Guardian car will be made available at every purchase. For example, the first car will be unlocked at 2,000 crates sold, the second at 4,000, and the third when all of the crates are sold.

Players need only to own Car Tickets, which are included in every crate purchased, to have the chance to win a Chinese Guardian car.
