Sludgefeed reports that Metaboss features a 12-week story, during which players can participate in weekly challenges where they need to fight kaiju monsters, which are combinations of NFTs such as kitties, racecars, and virtual lands in the players’ wallets.
The winning team will be selected weekly based on the overall performance of all the NFTs in their team’s respective wallets. They will share a pool of the staked items in the game.
It was also said that Altitude Games, Blockade Games, and Claymatic Games collaborated on the new blockchain game as part of an effort to expand the NFT community and provide alternatives to existing options in play-to-earn gaming.
Altitude Games COE Gabby Dizon shared that the concept of Metaboss matches his interest in creating blockchain-based game experiences.
We’re excited to develop these meta play experiences with different teams in the blockchain and NFT space.
It was revealed in the blockchain game’s preview that it can be played within March.
