5 DApps for Office Work

Work can be stressful sometimes and without the proper tools and support, we wouldn’t be able to handle the pressure that we feel when finishing our deliverables.

Good thing that there are blockchain applications that can help office workers kickstart their productivity. Using DApps is a secure, more transparent way to make transactions, communicate with co-workers, create reports, and more.

Below are some DApps that can be helpful in office work:

Graphite

Graphite is considered the blockchain version of Google’s G Suite. The DApp lets users collaborate with co-workers on documents, share files, and collect information in a decentralized platform. Users can also securely own and manage their keys without interference from their company.

Graphite is powered by the Blockstack computing network.

Forms.id

Forms.id offers a decentralized way of creating virtual forms, similar to Google Forms. Responses collected from forms created using this DApp are encrypted, making the form creator and respondent the only owners of the submitted answers.

Like the Graphite DApp, Forms.id uses Blockstack authentication and storage.

Note Riot

This note-taking DApp allows users to import their data from their Google Keep notes to this platform, as well as access the notes either on their phones and computers. All the notes stored in Note Riot are encrypted, meaning only the users can access and export their respective data.

Note Riot also utilizes the Blockstack platform so that users can have complete control of their identity and data.

Upfiring

Upfiring is an Ethereum-based peer-to-peer file sharing DApp that is available on Windows, MacOS, and Linux. Users of this decentralized platform are rewarded with Upfiring tokens (UFR) for seeding encrypted files.

The distribution of UFR and files on Upfiring are controlled by smart contracts to create trustless exchanges.

Dmail

Dmail is a Blockstack- and Lightning-powered email service provider. The technology behind this DApp ensures that users have a complete private communication with other Dmail users, the freedom to send encrypted messages, and the assurance that they are the only ones who can own their data.
